We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our Engineering Excellence team – you will be goal driven, help to grow our platform and drive our new technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding technical role in a tight-knit team, as we evolve into a global class leader.
Leverage leading technology - design, build and test applications; use data, information and technology to evolve the way the world manages its assets.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design and develop high quality solutions for web applications, APIs and integrations using the latest technologies and techniques
Adhere to and influence AssetFuture’s Architectural principles - maintain a deep understanding of our application and middleware technology
Integrate and develop customer facing UI/UX frameworks using best practice to meet business objectives
Collaborate with the Product Lead to provide feedback and technical recommendations, designs, and estimates on proposed new product features
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in code reviews
Provide support, mentorship and professional assistance to junior engineers in the team
Continuously research, review and recommend new technology for adoption
Understand the SaaS market and general best practices and standards
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
5 years’+ experience in .net/.net core development: C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET API, MVC, Web Forms
SQL Server experience – essential
Exposure to other NoSQL databases, e.g. Mongo
Understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript frameworks
Exposure to source control solutions such as Git
Knowledge and experience with CI/CD practices and processes.
Experience developing third party controls, plugins and frameworks
Understanding of web security concerns & testing to resolve security issues
A 'can do' attitude, be self-directed and results orientated
A strong team orientation and collaborative approach
